The best aluminum fence double gate depends on the opening width, gate height, and the level of privacy you need. For a wide driveway, the 6-by-10-foot Mondaria gates offer the broadest listed opening; the 6-by-8-foot model suits a smaller driveway, while the 5-by-6-foot model fits a more compact opening. A separate Zylorix deck gate is included for readers comparing aluminum gates for porches or yards, but it is not a double driveway gate.

Mondaria 6-by-10-Foot Semi-Privacy Gate
This Mondaria gate measures 6 feet high by 10 feet wide and uses an aluminum-alloy frame with a matte black powder-coated finish. Its semi-enclosed, hollow-out design combines partial screening with decorative panels. A lockable handle kit is included and described as pre-installed.
Best for: Homeowners with a wide driveway opening who want a taller, semi-private double gate. It was selected because it pairs the widest listed size with a 6-foot height and included handle kit.
Consider: Posts are not included, so plan for suitable gate posts and verify the full opening and installation requirements before purchasing.
Mondaria 5-by-6-Foot Compact Gate
At 5 feet high and 6 feet wide, this is the smallest listed Mondaria double gate. Its aluminum-alloy frame, matte black rust-resistant finish, semi-privacy panel design, and lockable handle kit make it a compact alternative to the wider driveway models.
Best for: Buyers whose measured opening is relatively narrow or who need a shorter gate. Choose this if its dimensions match the opening; its smaller footprint distinguishes it from the 8- and 10-foot-wide options.
Consider: The listing says posts are not included. Its 5-foot height may also be unsuitable where a taller fence line is needed.
Mondaria 6-by-8-Foot Driveway Gate
This 6-foot-high, 8-foot-wide model offers the same general semi-privacy design as the other Mondaria gates, with an aluminum frame, matte black finish, and lockable handle kit. Its listed width is between the 6-foot and 10-foot alternatives.
Best for: A driveway or yard opening that needs a 6-foot-tall gate but does not call for the widest option. It was selected as a middle-width choice for comparing opening sizes.
Consider: Posts are not included. Confirm the actual clear opening and the space needed for both gate leaves to swing before choosing this size.
Zylorix 36-Inch Deck Gate
This single deck gate measures 36 inches by 4 feet and is intended for deck, porch, yard, or garden use—not as a double driveway gate. The listed features include an all-aluminum frame, welded reinforcing sleeves, anti-sag hinges, a self-closing hinge and latch, and a finish identified as AAMA 2604 grade.
Best for: Buyers seeking a smaller gate for a deck or railing area. It is included as an aluminum outdoor-gate alternative, rather than a direct double-gate match.
Consider: Avoid this option if you need a wide driveway entrance or a two-leaf gate. Verify the railing and installation dimensions for your project.
Mondaria 6-by-10-Foot Horizontal-Slat Gate
This 6-by-10-foot Mondaria double gate is listed with an aluminum-alloy frame, matte black powder-coated finish, and lockable handle kit. Its product name specifies a horizontal-slat style, while the supplied feature text describes a semi-enclosed hollow-out design.
Best for: Buyers who want a wide, 6-foot-tall gate and prefer the horizontal-slat styling indicated by the product name. Its dimensions match the other 10-foot Mondaria option.
Consider: Posts are not included. Because the feature description does not clearly detail the slat layout, review the product listing images and specifications before deciding on appearance.
Buying Guide
How wide should an aluminum double gate be?
Measure the clear distance between the planned gate posts, rather than estimating from the fence line. Compare that measurement with the listed total width: these Mondaria options are 6, 8, or 10 feet wide. Confirm how the manufacturer defines width and allow for the hardware and installation clearances required for your setup.
Which gate height should you choose?
Match the gate height to the existing fence and the look you want. The listed Mondaria driveway models are 5 or 6 feet high. The Zylorix gate is a 36-inch deck gate, so it serves a different purpose and should not be treated as a full-height driveway alternative.
Do these gates include posts?
The three Mondaria semi-privacy driveway listings explicitly say posts are not included. The horizontal-slat listing also says it is without posts. Check the listing for the exact model before ordering and account for compatible posts, mounting hardware, and installation needs.
What style and maintenance factors matter?
The Mondaria listings describe aluminum-alloy frames and matte black finishes intended to resist rust and fading, with semi-privacy designs. The Zylorix listing describes an all-aluminum deck gate and a specified finish. Compare the actual panel appearance and the care instructions for the product you select; do not assume that different styles provide the same degree of privacy.
